A coworker pointed me to the website of a shop nearby that carries art made by local artists. I am going to see about the possibility of them carrying my jewelry! I looked over their webshop and their jewelry selection is very minimal. Maybe they will want my stuff for a change of pace.

My first sale at a boutique!!!

I had my appointment with the boutique owner today in town. She bought 9 pieces!! I gave her a nice discount in the hopes she would buy today and continue to buy in the future. I am so excited. Her store is already overflowing with jewelry of all varieties, cheap costume to expensive gold and stones. I think my pieces will do just fine there. Yay Cla!!

How very Apropos

I called the owner of a local boutique who wanted to see my jewelry. I originally spoke to her last month but she wasn't ready to purchase new since she just got back from market. I set up an appointment for a viewing on Wednesday afternoon! I seriously hope she wants to buy some (or all) of my stuff. I am even willing to give her a wholesale price in order to get some inventory off my hands. She mentioned wanting to find new artists that she would regularly stock and I am hoping that she likes my stuff enough to stock them!

I also faxed my resume out for five jobs yesterday afternoon. Hopefully I will hear something back from them. Again, fingers crossed!!!
